Directions: Find words across to the right or straight down. No words run backward. Circle each word in the grid and cross it off the alphabetized list.

Optional question: What would you order at the counter?

Words: APRON · BOOTH · CHERRY · COUNTER · DINER · MENU · MILKSHAKE · NAPKIN · PIE · RADIO · STOOL · TIP

Print both pages on US Letter paper at actual size or 100%, without “fit to page.” The PDF preserves the book’s 22-point grid letters and 18-point word lists. Keep the answer page aside until you want to check a word.

What is in the paperback?

The 120-page paperback contains 56 original puzzles, each with 12 words, an optional memory prompt, and a full-size solution. The first 24 puzzles use right and down directions; later puzzles also use diagonally down-right words. None run backward.

Themes move from familiar shops and home activities to outings, hobbies, gatherings, and quiet evenings. The memory questions are optional: you can share a thought or simply solve the words.
